碘化丙啶（Propidium Iodide，PI）是一種可對DNA 染色的細胞核染色試劑。它是一種溴化乙啶的類似物，在嵌入雙鏈DNA 后釋放紅色熒光。PI 不能穿透完整細胞膜，但對凋亡晚期細胞和死細胞的破損細胞膜能夠穿透，并使細胞核紅染。PI 經常被用來與Calcein-AM 或者FDA 等熒光探針一起使用，能同時對活細胞和死細胞染色。PI-DNA 復合物的激發和發射波長分別為535 nm 和615 nm。常用于流式細胞儀分析和顯微鏡觀察，檢測細胞凋亡(apoptosis)或細胞壞死(necrosis)。
本產品為PI 水溶液，濃度為1mg/ml。使用時根據實驗不同直接將本產品用相應溶液稀釋到工作濃度。
