It has a complex structure that includes motor and shafts. The bottom eccentric weight rotates below the centre of vibrating mass. This creates vibration in vertical & tangential planes and increases the vertical component of motion which is responsible for promoting turn over of material on the screen surface. This in turn helps maximum quantity of undersize material to pass through easily .The vertical motion helps in reducing blinding of screen by small particles. The tangential component of motion is controlled by the angle of lead which is provided at the bottom weight with relation to top weight.
