As the dust laden air enters the bag filter, the air velocity drops down allowing coarser particles to fall in the hopper. Fine particles are borne into the bag area. The air passes through the felt media depositing the dust on the outside of the bag. The filtered air passes through the bag into clean air plenum and then out of the collector.
