Rugged Construction:

YAGNAM Air Swept Mill is manufactured from specially selected materials. The beaters are interchangeable & reversible. Thus, the pulverizer will last a lifetime with minimum replacement of parts. YAGNAM Air Swept Mill with mild / alloy steel contact parts construction is recommended for hard and medium hard material.

Principle of Operation

The flow of material from the feeding hopper is regulated by means of a vertically adjustable slide to suit the load indicated by the ampere meter. The rotor with 12 hammers run clockwise looking from pulley side. Thus swinging hammers on the rotor passes just beneath the ratchet teeth liner fitted inside the top half of the grinding chamber, leaving a gap of 1.5mm between the liner teeth & the tips of the beaters. This cuts the material cut between the liner teeth like a sword with a scissors action, at the high speed up to 6000 RPM.

After the required size reduction, the material will pass through the appropriately adjusted classifier fitted inside the conical body end of the grinding chamber. No sieving is required, as the appropriate classifier is fitted, it will not allow coarser material to pass. The grinding is continuous. The air blower is fitted in adjusting side of the conical body which is generating air in the grinding chamber by forces the powder to pass through the blower which delivers the product through the pipeline into the cyclone separator. The dust is collected through the attached balloon (Kora cloth Bag) fitted on the discharge end. The balloon has to be tapped and shaken every half an hour to knock down the dust clogging the pores of the balloon cloth, so as to release the fresh air. The dust falls into the bag below. Thus, dust-free operation is possible with no wastage of product.
